• There are live aligators in the lake
• People smile a lot
• Celebration is somewhat less diverse than New York
• It never snows

I made it!

After four years I finally escaped my own personal hell (New York City) and made it to the most magical place on Earth!  There are a few differences between living in New York and living in Celebration.  I still live within walking distance to great restaurants and shops.  Instead of 10 sketchy sushi restaurants on my block…I have one.  It’s really good.  Instead of 20 different bars to go to…I have one.  They all know me and i get 10% off.  Oh, and instead of everything costing half of my paycheck…it practically seems free.  Life is good.

My biggest complaint is that I miss my friends.

My intention is to give some insight into the interesting places, activities, and restaurants at Disney World.  Maybe that way everyone will also decide to move here.  Or at least visit.

I will start with the town where I live – Celebration.  The entire city was created in 1994 when Disney realized it had a bunch of land but no more ideas for theme parks.  After having conquered most industries, Disney decided why not just build a city complete with its own police, post office, and town drunk.  If you’ve ever been to Disneyland or the Magic Kingdom and walked down main street and wondered what it would be like if a whole city was built that way – you MUST visit Celebration.
